Alexander Tornede successfully defended his Ph.D. on June 19, 2023 at Paderborn University. The title of his thesis is: Advanced Algorithm Selection with Machine Learning: Handling Large Algorithm Sets, Learning From Censored Data, and Simplifying Meta Level Decisions.
He convinced the examination committee: Prof. Dr. Eyke Hüllermeier (LMU Munich), Prof. Dr. Axel Ngonga (Paderborn University), Prof. Marius Lindauer (Leibniz University Hannover), Jun.-Prof. Dr. Sebastian Peitz (Paderborn University) and Dr. Matthias Fischer (Paderborn University) with his research.
