Research Interests
Yamen Ajjour ist Postdoktorand am Institut für Künstliche Intelligenz der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen in der Argumentationstechnologie und der Computerethik. Seine Forschung zur Argumenttechnologie wurde auf der Deutschen Konferenz für Künstliche Intelligenz 2019 mit dem Best Paper Award ausgezeichnet. Derzeit untersucht er, wie sich Medienvoreingenommenheit auf promptbasiertes Lernen auswirkt. Yamen war Mitorganisator mehrerer gemeinsamer Aufgaben im Zusammenhang mit computergestützter Argumentation und hat mehrere Veröffentlichungen in diesem Bereich sowie in den Bereichen Formulierung und Beantwortung von Fragen veröffentlicht. Er ist seit sechs Jahren als Gutachter für große NLP-Konferenzen tätig und wurde beim EACL 2023 mit dem Outstanding Reviewer Award ausgezeichnet.
